Closing Bell: Nifty closed above 15,300, know which stocks have come up

Indian stock markets closed up on Wednesday with a rise. The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index Sensex gained 0.75 percent of 379.99 points to end at 51,017.52. The Sensex opened at 50,899.58 on Wednesday. During trading, it went up to a maximum of 51,072.61 points and a minimum of 50,620.45 points. At the time of closing the market, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 stocks were on the green mark and 7 stocks were on the red mark.

The Sensex shares gained the most on Wednesday at 4.82 percent in Bajaj Finserv, 2.72 percent in Bajaj Finance, 2.60 percent in Infosys and 1.74 percent in Mahindra & Mahindra. At the same time, the biggest decline was 3.11 percent in Powergrid and 1.77 percent in NTPC.

Meanwhile, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty gained 0.61 percent or 93 points to close at 15,301.45 on Wednesday. It was open at 15,257.05. During trading, it went up to a maximum of 15,319.90 and a minimum of 15,194.95. At the time of closing the market, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 31 were on the green mark, 18 on the red mark, and 1 was without any change.

The fastest in the Nifty-50 was 4.61 percent in Bajaj Finserv, 2.67 percent in Bajaj Finance, 2.45 percent in Infosys, and 2.41 percent in Grasim. At the same time, Powergrid declined by 3.01 percent and Hindalco by 2.51 percent.
