Big Bazaar to deliver order within two hours after placing order online

Big Bazaar, the retail chain of Kishore Biyani-led Future Group, announced its entry into the instant home delivery service on Thursday. The company will deliver the order received online within two hours. According to the information given by the company, if you place an online order through Big Bazaar’s mobile app or portal, the goods will be delivered within two hours from the nearest store. Through this service, you can order clothes, food items, FMCG products and household items from this retail chain.

Future Group President (Food and FMCG) Kamaldeep Singh said that the company has started delivery in two hours in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. The company plans to expand this service to other cities in the coming times.

Singh said, “We are expecting to deliver about one lakh orders every day for the next two-three months.” In the second phase, Big Bazaar will extend a two-hour delivery service to 21 cities in the next 45 days. This service will be provided by each of the Big Bazaar stores in the next five-six months.

Delivery charge
Under this service, goods worth at least 500 rupees will have to be purchased from Big Bazaar. Under this new service, Big Bazaar will charge a delivery charge of Rs 49 for orders under Rs 1,000. However, you will not have to pay any fee if the order value is more than Rs 1,000. Big Bazaar is Future Retail’s flagship retail store. Big Bazaar has more than 280 stores in 150 cities of the country.
