Banks will remain closed from March 27 to April 4

This news is important for all private and public sector bank customers. Banking services will be available for two days only from Saturday to April 4 this week. There are only 2 working days between 27 March to 4 April. So if you have any work in the bank, complete it this week or else you will have to wait till April 3. Banks will be closed for three consecutive days from 27-29 March across the country. Meanwhile, banking services can be availed for only two days on 30 March and 3 April. Banking services will not be available on 31 March as it is the last day of the financial year.

• March 27 – Last Saturday
• March 28 – Sunday
• March 29- Holi holiday.
• March 30 – Holiday at Patna branch. Everywhere else will be working
• March 31 – Last day of the year
• April 1 – Closing Account
• 2 April – Good Friday
• 3 April – Saturday – working day
• April 4 – Sunday

Bank holidays may vary in some states. Banks will be closed on gazetted holidays across the country, except for four Sundays and two Saturdays, according to the RBI calendar. Significantly, the work was affected by the two-day bank strike on March 15-16 against the privatization of two more government-owned banks announced in the Union Budget 2021 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
