Amazon, along with the Uber company, has decided to install plastic screens in about 40 thousand Uber autos for the safety of drivers. Apart from this, Uber has given riders the option to pay from Amazon. Under this, now riders can get up to 50 percent cash back on the payment of the ride through Amazon Pay.

n order to increase the safety of riders and drivers from Amazon Pay and Uber in 7 major cities of the country soon, plastic screens will be installed in about 40 thousand Uber autos. The two companies have announced this agreement together. Earlier, in view of the Corona pandemic, both companies supported cashless payments. 

These seven major cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Jaipur. At the same time, under this partnership, if riders pay with Amazon Pay, then up to 50 percent cashback can be given on every ride. The company has said that the use of Uber Auto will be more and the company will grow even faster.

Riders will get tremendous benefit 

Apart from this, offers will be given to riders from time to time like the company, under which they will also be able to save their fair. The company is working fast towards this. Prabhjit Singh, president of Uber India, said, “We are going to take effective steps under this partnership. This will also benefit the company’s drivers and riders will be able to pay easily.” He said that from time to time, the best offers will be given by the company, under which the riders will get more benefit. “While they have expressed confidence that this agreement will benefit both the companies.”

Amazon becomes part of self-reliant India campaign 

Amazon has also become a part of the Central Government’s Atmanirbhar India Campaign. The company says that it is going to put up a manufacturing unit in Chennai at the end of the year. The company will manufacture its other devices including the Fire TV Stick in this unit. Apart from this, Amazon has set a target of creating 1 million jobs by 2025 with an investment of 1 billion dollars for the digitization of 10 million small and medium-sized businesses in India.
