Maruti Diesel Car can make a come in India

In April 2019, Maruti Suzuki made a shocking announcement. In which the company discontinued all its diesel cars in India. However, considering this decision, the company is now thinking of making a comeback with the diesel model with BS6 engine in the market.

Earlier this year in India, the vehicle market has seen a lot of recession due to new BS6 standards. Meanwhile, in April 2019, the country’s largest automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki made a shocking announcement. In which the company discontinued all its diesel cars in India. However, considering this decision, the company is now thinking of making a comeback with the diesel model in the market.

What is the reason:  Several new reports have come up, stating that now Maruti Suzuki is planning to bring back diesel cars in India. A major reason behind this is the increasing demand for BS6 diesel vehicles in India. In fact, the report states that Maruti Suzuki India has also started the upgrade process at its convenience in Manesar Haryana and by the festive season of 2021, the company may introduce BS6 diesel cars.

First of all, these trains will get updates:  Maruti will start using BS6 diesel engine with its popular car Ertiga and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The company has not yet confirmed this. It is said that the 1.5 litre BS6 diesel motor will be used first in the Vitara Brezza compact SUV and Ertiga MPV. After which other models such as Ciaz, S-Cross and Baleno will get updates.

Not only Maruti but many automobile manufacturers have not updated the diesel vehicles to BS6, due to the heavy cost incurred in the diesel vehicles. At the same time, other companies can also consider manufacturing diesel vehicles with BS6 engine after Maruti.
