Delivery of the country’s cheapest electric motorcycle started, no need of a driving license, runs 100km in a single charge

Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler startup company Atumobiles Pvt Ltd launched its first electric motorcycle Atum 1.0 last year. Which was introduced at a starting price of just Rs 50,000 across the country. The bike has received around 400 bookings since its launch. At the same time, the company has started its delivery in Hyderabad.

Atom 1.0 is a café-racer style electric bike, and its first 10 units have been assigned to customers. The motorcycle has been certified by the International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) as a low-speed electric two-wheeler, fully equipped as a commercial vehicle.

The bike gets charged in 3 to 4 hours:  

Atum 1.0 includes LED headlamps, LED taillights, LED turn indicators, stylish cafe-racer design, comfortable seats, go-fat fats tires, 280mm ground clearance and an A for instrument console includes a digital display. Customers can charge this bike anywhere using a normal three-pin socket. Which takes 3 to 4 hours to be fully charged. 

Extremely low top speed:  

Atum 1.0 electric motorcycle uses a 48V, 250W electric motor. Which is paired with a portable lithium-ion battery pack. The electric powertrain found on the Atum 1.0 claims to offer a maximum driving range of 100 km on a single charge. At the same time, this electric motorcycle is limited to a top speed of 25km / h.

However, the special feature of this bike is that it does not need to be registered after purchase, nor does the person need a driving license to drive it. At the same time, the total weight of this bike is just 108kg. Which can be easily used by people of any age?
