Tata Nexon EV Review: India’s Most Affordable Electric SUV, Now Available at Rs 13.99 Lakh

Tata Motors will soon be launching its most advanced all-electric SUV in the Indian market, that is named as Nexon EV.  The electric SUV is the primary product from the brand to highlight the company’s all-new ‘Ziptron’ powertrain.

Design & Style 

 The front of the Tata Nexon EV appears with a perfectly revived appearance, endeavoring a more sporty and superior charisma. Interiors on the new electric SUV have also been modernized; continuing to the sporty features of the Nexon.

The new headlamps are now sharper-looking and appear with projector headlamps. The LED DRLs on the new Tata Nexon EV has also been renewed and is combined into the principal headlamp cluster. The DRLs currently arrive in an X-shape, furnishing it a dynamic design.

The front edge also arrives with modernized housing for the fog lamps, which have also been renewed. The front bumper now attains with a more open-air dam at the bottom-center with what Tata Motors like to call ‘Electric Blue’.

 Nexon EV is an entirely different set of 16-inch diamond-cut metal wheels as well, combining to the premium-ness of the SUV.

Interiors & practicality

Customers are instantly greeted to a simple yet revised cabin. The Nexon EV arises with a beautifully enclosed leather steering roller, with installed controls for the audio and call functionalities.

Behind the steering wheel is a semi-digital device cluster, with an analog speedometer. and digital display. The digital display is related to that on the Altroz premium hatchback, yet, on the Nexon EV, it contributes a host of other data as well. This involves battery status, battery percentage, tachometer, regenerative braking mode; among other functionalities.

The Tata Nexon EV highlights a seven-inch floating touchscreen infotainment display, supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also emphasizes the brand’s United technology as well, which on its individual grants an added 35 features, controllable via an app on the smartphone.

Placed below the infotainment system on the middle console are the AC vents. It’s enclosed by electric blue accents, moved forward from the interiors. The dashboard arrives with a dual-tone scheme, with a black finish on the roof and beige at the bottom, simultaneously with a piano-black end in between

The dashboard appears with soft-touch elements as well, extending a rewarding look and touch in the cabin. Along with this, the Tata Nexon EV also contributes a USB port and a 12V charging socket, which are located well, for your better convenience. There are also loads of cubby areas in the middle console.

In words of practicality, the Tata Nexon EV comprises various cubby spaces and storage all around. It grants an extensive glovebox, loads of storage ranges on the all four doors, on the center console, and behind the front seats. Drive capacity on the Nexon EV is 350-litres, although this can additionally be stretched through a 60:40 split of the rear seats.
