Renault Kwid Facelift 2018: Renault Kwid was introduced to the market by the name of the most affordable hatchback car in the market of India. The starting price of the model is Rs 2.67 lakh. So for the people who are unable to afford a luxurious car, Renault Kwid is popular among them. They not only serve the basic needs but also give a glamorous look to the person possessing the car. Renault has been found working on the Renault Kwid Facelift and some information has been gathered during the time of test rounds.
There are few changes in the exterior as well as in the interior of the Renault Kwid Facelift. During the test rounds, it has been noticed that there is some camouflage on the outer parts of the car.
Is Renault Kwid Facelift better than the previous Renault Kwid model?
Now from the view during the test rounds, it has been noticed that there is camouflage wrapping the front bumper and the rear bumper. So it can be said that there are changes in the front and rear bumper along with the fog lamp at the front of the car. Not only are the bumpers but there are also minor changes at the wheel arches. The model is based on the platform of Renault Nissan’s CMF-A. This platform offers the customer with a good space at the interior along with a good boot capacity. There are not many details about the interior of the car, but we hope that it will be revised with some more add-ons. It will also have new upholstery and an updated infotainment system.
There are two engine options for the Renault Kwid in India. The two options include
- 8-liter SCe petrol engine that has that capacity of producing 72 Nm of top torque and 54 bhp of power.
- There is also a bigger model of 1.0 SCe petrol engine that is having a capacity of 91 Nm of peak torque and can pump out a maximum of 68 bhp.
Both the variants are having a 5-speed gearbox. But for the 1.0 SCe petrol engine model, there is AMT.
We hope that the Renault Kwid Facelift will be an upgraded model, with better features and attractive look at an affordable price. Price is the main point of Renault Kwid for which it is holding the market.
