Japan-based auto manufacturer, Honda, has declared that it will reveal the all-new fifth-generation Honda City 2020 on 16 March. According to sources, the organization will also formally open bookings for the vehicle at the unveiling ceremony.
The forthcoming Honda City model will appear with minor modifications made over international models. The front fascia of the vehicle highlights more active LED headlamps, front grille, LED DRLs, and redesigned bumpers, and fog lamps.
Interiors will highlight an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto cooperative, a digital instrument cluster, an electric sunroof, and rear air conditioning drains, among a list of other human compassion.
Safety features on the 2020 Honda City will add ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, cruise control, camera, rear parking sensors and an ISOFIX child safety anchors amongst a host of others.
Honda’s fifth-generation sedan will appear with BS6 compliant 1.5-liter petrol and diesel alternatives. The 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine produces 117 brake horsepower and 145Nm of torque.
The 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel motor produces 100 brake horsepower and 200Nm of torque. Transmission options incorporate a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
There is news that the Honda City RS Turbo might be started in India as well. The RS Turbo variant features a 1.0-liter turbo petrol motor that produces 122 brake horsepower and 173Nm of torque.
Current-generation models have rated between Rs 9.91 lakh and Rs 14.31 lakh, and we suppose the 2020 Honda City models to be priced between Rs 10.5 lakh and Rs 16.5 lakh. All prices stated are ex-showroom.
