2020 Mahindra Marazzo BS6 Launched: Price, specs, features and more!

The BS6 comes in three variants

Mahindra has finally unveiled the Marazzo BS6 in India. Due to the pandemic, the model was missing from showrooms for the past few months. Now that the raw material supply has more or less become steady, Mahindra launched the new MPV.

At the moment, three variants are available, which are the M2, M4 Plus, and M6 Plus. Furthermore, buyers can choose from two types of seating options- the eight-seater and the seven-seater. In regards to the colour, Mahindra is offering six options- Iceberg White, Poseidon Purple, Oceanic Black, Mariner Maroon, Shimmering Silver and Aqua Marine.

2020 Mahindra Marazzo BS6: Pricing

Mahindra has kept the Marazzo BS6’s price lesser than the BS4. Therefore, the price starts at 11.25 lakh INR. As for the M4 Plus and M6 Plus variants, they will cost 12.37 lakh and 13.51 lakh INR respectively (ex showrooms). Also, the eight-seater option will cost Rs—10,000 more than the seven-seater.

2020 Mahindra Marazzo BS6: Specs

The engine of the new car is the 1.5 litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, same as before. However, now it’s BS6 compliant. Its maximum power output is at 121 bhp at 3,500 rpm along with 300 Nm. In the past, rumours suggested that the BS6 will come equipped with automatic transmission, but presently that doesn’t seem to be the case. Instead, The six-speed manual gearbox makes its return. As for the mileage, we expect it to be the same as the BS4.

The M2 variant doesn’t come with new features. However, Mahindra has equipped the rest two with a variety of new provisions. The latter two models have rear parking cameras, fog lamps etc. Of course, Mahindra has added safety features including but not limited to dual airbags, speeding alert, child mount, seatbelt reminder etc.

The 2020 Marazzo BS6’s design won’t see a change in layout. For example, its length, width and height will remain the same as before- 4,585 x 1,866 x 1,774mm respectively. The car also retains the 2,760mm wheelbase.
