GST Collection: GST collection in February 2022 was Rs 1,33,026 crore, 18 percent more than February last year.

GST Collection: The figures of GST collection for February 2022 have been released. Gross GST revenue collected for February 2022 was Rs 1,33,026 crore. This is the fifth time when the GST collection has crossed Rs 1.30 lakh crore. In February 2022, the GST collection has been 18 percent more than in February 2021, while the collection has increased by 26 percent compared to February 2020.

The GST collection in February 2022 has been Rs 1,33,026 crore. The same CGST collection has been Rs 24,435 crore, SGST Rs 30,779 crore, IGST Rs 67,471 crore and Cess Rs 10,340 crore. The revenue of the central government after regular settlement in the month of February has been Rs 50,782 crore, while the total revenue of the states has been Rs 52,688 crore. While the GST revenue collection has increased by 18 percent in February 2022, the collection has increased by 26 percent as compared to February 2020. In the month of February, revenue has increased by 38 percent from imports. While releasing the data, the Finance Ministry has said that the month of February is shorter than January due to 28 days. At the same time, due to the Omicron variant of the corona epidemic in February, partial lockdown, night curfew and restrictions have also been observed by the states. This is the fifth time that the GST collection has crossed Rs 1.30 lakh crore. At the same time, for the first time, the GST cess collection has crossed Rs 10,000 crore. Which shows that recovery has returned in sectors like the automobile sector.
