Mobile launched for connecting sellers on Bharat E-Market, Know the registration process

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), an organization of retail traders, launched a mobile app connecting sellers on its e-commerce portal Bharat E-Market. Through this app, merchants and service providers will be able to create their own ‘e-shop’. A press release issued by CAIT states that Bharat E-Market has been developed solely on the basis of a transparent and responsible trading system with modern technology, strong delivery, innovative marketing, efficient digital payments. Work is being done to enable it to compete with leading e-commerce companies.

According to this release, CAT National President BC Bhartia and National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal said that last year Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for “Vocal on Local” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” in the country. In both these campaigns, special emphasis was laid on the use of Indian goods and technology. He said that CAT has planned to launch the “Bharat e-market” portal under this campaign by which manufacturers and traders of Indian goods can promote local products by opening their own e-shops on this portal.

According to the press release, on this portal merchant-to-merchant (BTOB) and merchant-to-consumer (BTUC) business will be done very easily. Bhartia and Khandelwal told about the Bharat e-market vendor onboarding app, that in order to open an e-shop on this portal, every person has to register themselves through the mobile app. While registering, they will receive an OTP that needs to be entered into the app and once the KYC is completed, anyone can easily create their own e-shop. In this, the technical team of the India e-market will help the person and once the e-shop is created, the person can do business through an online portal.
