JEE Advanced Result 2020: The Indian Institute of Technology IIT Delhi announced the result for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advance 2020 today. The result has been declared along with cut-off marks for admissions to IITs and rank lists will be available at jeeadv.ac.in.
To secure the seat in IIT, students must meet JEE Advance cut off and secure minimum qualifying marks in JEE Advanced result in all three sections (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) separately and in aggregate. The final answer key is also to be released on the official website.
JEE Advanced 2020
JEE Main and JEE Advanced are national level entrance exam which is conducted for offering admission in the engineering colleges in India. JEE exam is conducted by NTA for the students who want to take admission in NITs, IITs, GFTIs, and other colleges run by the state government and private institution. Both these exams are interconnected as JEE Mains is the eligibility test for appearing in JEE Advanced.

Candidates who appeared for the examination on September 12 will now able to check their JEE Advance 2020 result by logging into the candidate’s portal on the official website of JEE Advance and can view JEE Advance 2020 cut off and download the result.
NTA was the conducting body, responsible for holding the JEE Advance exam in 222 cities and 1001 JEE exam venues across the nation. Out of the total registered JEE Advance candidates, 96% attendance was recorded for the JEE Advanced exam.
A total number of 1,50,838 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advance 2020. A total of 43,204 candidates have qualified candidates, and 6,707 are female.
Schedule for counselling:
The counselling will begin from tomorrow as JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) will start its registration process. According to the result declaration, JoSAA Counselling for admission to various IITs, NITs, and other reputed colleges would start on the website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. This year, some changes have been introduced by the authority like less rounds of counselling among several others. The number of counselling rounds has been reduced to six from seven earlier, to commence the timely admission and beginning of classes.
The counselling will be held in online mode and it will end in November. Candidates are advised to register on the official website of JoSAA to participate in the JEE Main counselling and seat allotment 2020.
JEE Advanced 2020 topper:
JEE Main September topper Chirag Falor has secured all India rank, AIR 1 in JEE advances. He secures 352 marks out of 396 marks. Among females candidates, Kanishka Mittal has topped the exam With 315 marks and secured AIR 17.
