Under the Vande Bharat Mission, migrant Rajasthani will reach Jaipur airport with six flights, two additional flights will also ply

By August 4, flights from abroad will arrive at Jaipur airport carrying migrants

Overseas Rajasthani will come to Jaipur by 6 flights from abroad till August 4, including 2 additional flights under Vande Bharat Mission. Additional Chief Secretary Khan and Petroleum and Convenor Air Cell Dr. Subodh Aggarwal said that till July 22, 18 thousand 388 Rajasthani migrants have landed at Jaipur Airport from about 116 flights. He said that about 175 migrant Rajasthanis reached Jaipur on a flight from Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) to Jaipur Airport on Thursday.

ACS Dr. Aggarwal informed that under the Vande Bharat Mission, on 2 and 4 August, 1-1 flight will bring Rajasthani migrant. In this way, during the period of 25 July to 4 August, one flight each from Biskac and one flight each from Dubai, Muscat, Sharjah, and Doha will take off at Jaipur airport.

He said that regular monitoring and coordination is being done by the Aircell formed by the state government to make the phased return of stranded Rajasthanis abroad. He said that on May 22, under the mission, the first flight from London reached Jaipur airport carrying 149 expatriate Rajasthanis. It is worth noting that along with the Vanda Bharat Mission, migrant Rajasthanis are also reaching Jaipur by charter flights.

These team will be present

Dr. Aggarwal informed that after the arrival of the migrant Rajasthanis to Jaipur Airport, all necessary arrangements including institutional quarantine are being made by the team of doctors and officials. Joint Director Medical Dr. SK Bhandari, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Nirmal Jain, Dr. Dhaneshwar Sharma, and their entire medical team are providing services ranging from thermal scanning to medical check-ups after the arrival of flights at the airport.

Institutional quarantine arrangements are being ensured at Jaipur airport by Quarantine Officer BC Gangwal, Deputy Director Tourism Upendra Singh Shekhawat, and his team and Rico DGM Tarun Jain, etc. Officers of JDA, district administration, police administration are watching the arrangements at the airport. Director of Civil Aviation Capt. Kesari Singh said that the necessary arrangements at the airport are done properly and timely.
