Motorola launches Moto X Play in India priced at Rs 18,499

With the appealing citation, “Meet Your Perfect Partner”, Motorola has recently introduced its mid-range Smartphone in the Indian market, called Moto X Play. Unlike the Moto X 2nd Generation handsets, Moto X Play is aggressively priced @ Rs. 18, 499 INR for the 16GB variant, while the 32GB variant is priced a bit higher @ Rs. 19,999 INR. The new offering by Motorola in the form of Moto X Play has truly set a benchmark in the Smartphone market of India with impressive features and specifications like 21 Mega-Pixels rear camera and robust backup with 3630 mAH battery.

After the grand success of the predecessors, (i.e. Moto G and Moto E handsets in India), Motorola has decided to launch its new offering in the market of mid-range Smartphone at a price that is quite competitive. Power-packed with great features and punch of specifications, Moto X Play is designed with full HD 5.5 screen with 1920×1080 resolution display that offers pixel thickness of 4.3pppi and supported by 2GB RAM and runs on 1.7 GHz true octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor combined with Adreno 4.5 GPU.

The latest Android operating system, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop has been incorporated into this advanced Smartphone. The prime highlight of Moto X Play is the 21 megapixel rear camera that features f/2.0 aperture and color correlated temperature flash with double LED modules. The rear camera of the gadget also features Phase Detect Auto-Focus and competent to record HD videos of 1080p at 30fps. The other features of the rear camera include tap anywhere & capture feature, video stabilization, slow motion video support, burst mode, 4×digital zoom, drag to exposure and focus, Panorama, night mode and auto HDR. For video calling the device comes with high resolution 5-megapixel front camera.

In India, Motorola has launched dual SIM variants that support NANO SIM Cards. Besides camera and other captivating features of Moto X Play, the gadget comprises powerful battery of 3630 mAH which is talk of the hour. According to the manufacturer specifications, Moto X Play offers comprehensive power back-up for 30 hours usages with one single charge and with mere 15 minutes charge the phone can last up to 8 hours of usage.
In a bid to provide pure and true Android experience, Moto X Play features built-in NFC technology along with 4G LTE technology for smart and faster browsing. The device even supports gesture movements for few general actions and activities, like closing or opening of camera to capture images etc. Moto X Play comes with Moto Voice feature which actually act when voice command is provided by the users.

Moto X Play will be made available in Indian market in Black Color and White Color options. The measurement of the device is 148×75×10.9mm and its weight is only 169 grams. It is made available to Indian public via online portals like Flipkart from 15th of September 2015 onwards.
In general, Moto X Play comes with a sleek and contemporary feel and look. Since it is the peak season of festivals in India (i.e. Deewali and Dussera) Moto X Play could become the most successful offering from Motorola this season.
