Mate 10 could be Huawei’s first phone to come with Android 8.0 Oreo OS

Google has launched the latest Android 8.0 Oreo Mobile operating system, recently. The smartphone companies can start rolling out the Android 8 Oreo OS update for their smartphones. But it may take few months for the older device to get the latest OS update. While the upcoming smartphone might have the new Android OS before an older one.

However, Google is supposed to be unveiled the new Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphone on October 5. Both smartphones will come with Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box. Apart from this, Huawei Mate 10 could be the first smartphone of the company that came with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

According to the new report, that claims the Huawei is working on the Android 8.0 Oreo based EMUI 6 latest UI. The Chinese company has released the closed beta version of the EMUI 6.0 where users can test the new features of it.

The company already released the teaser of the Mate 10 that revealed the announcement date of the device, October 16. Which means, there is a lot of time to optimize the latest EMUI 6.0 which based on Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

Last year, the company launched the Huawei Mate 9 and the company’s first device that came with EMUI 5.0 Lollipop which based on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System. We can expect that the Huawei will launch the new Mate 10 with new EMUI 6.0 version to Huawei fans.

The Huawei Mate 10 is expected to come with 20 megapixels camera with a monochrome sensor and 12 megapixels RGB camera. We are expecting that the device will also come with Lecia brand cameras on the back just like its predecessor. Some rumours suggest that the company will launch the Mate 10 along with Huawei Mate 10 Plus model, this year.

Previously, there rumoured that the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 would feature a full-screen EntireView display and a fingerprint sensor on the back side. But according to the new teaser poster image, there is no fingerprint scanner on the back side. The rumour mill has also suggested that the company will launch the low-end model of the Mate 10 smartphone, called Huawei Mate 10 Lite.
