iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus battery and RAN capacity revealed

Recently, Apple has announced its new iPhone smartphones, called iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus along with Apple iPhone X. During the launching event, the company has not talked about the RAM, battery capacity and processor’s clock speed. Now the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus spotted on TENAA that revealed some information about the RAM and battery capacity. Both the smartphone packed with a smaller battery capacity than their predecessor.

Apple iPhone 8

The Apple iPhone 8 appears on the Chinese regulator TENAA with Apple A1863 model number. It comes with 4.5-inch OLED display with 1334 x 750 pixels of resolution. It features a 2 GB of RAM, the company said that it would come with in 64 GB and 256 GB internal storage option. But on the TENAA, the phone is listed as 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage variants.

The iPhone 8 comes with a12-megapixel single sensor camera on the back side and 8-megapixel camera on the front side for selfies. It is powered by Apple A11 Bionic processor which clocks at 2.4 GHz. According to the TENAA, the phone is packed with 1821mAh battery inside, while the last year iPhone 7 has 1960mAh battery capacity.

iPhone 8 Plus

The iPhone 8 Plus appears on TENAA with Apple A1864 model number. It features a bigger 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. It is powered by the same processor as the iPhone 8, it comes with 3 GB of RAM on board. It will be available in the market in two memory variants, 64 GB and 256 GB internal storage option.

It features with the dual 12-megapixel camera on the back side and 8-megapixel camera on the front side. It is packed with 2675mAh battery size inside the body which is a downgrade from the 2900mAh battery in its predecessor. And also the iPhone 8 Plus has the smallest battery ever used in a Plus-sized iPhone.

Interestingly, Apple said that the new iPhone models would offer 2 hours more battery back up than its last year iPhone models.
