HTC U11 Plus specifications leaked, Launching in Q4 2017

HTC has a deal with the google, resulting in the acquiring of around 2,000 engineers of the Taiwanese company by Google. But, HTC has not sold its smartphone brand to google and it will continue to strive in the global smartphone market manufacture more smartphones.

HTC is expected to launch a couple of smartphones in the fourth quarter of this year. One of them is expected as a new flagship smartphone, so-called HTC U11 Plus. According to the recent report that claimed that the flagship smartphone would be launched in November month by the company. According to the industry insiders sources, the HTC U11 Plus will be an another model of the HTC U11 flagship smartphone which was launched in May this year.

The new report also revealed that the HTC’s new flagship smartphone would come with a 5.99-inch display with Quad HD pixels of resolution. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood. HTC U11 Plus flagship is expected to come with a 12-megapixel camera on the back side and 8-megapixel camera on the front side. There will be two memory variants, one with 64 GB and internal storage and another 128 GB internal storage option. We don’t know whether it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo or Android Nougat operating system out of the box.

The U11 Plus flagship smartphone will come with Ocean Master codename, according to the previous reports. The phone is also expected to come with the squeezable frame. There are rumors that the company will launch the other smartphone too in the Q4 in 2017 along with HTC U11 Plus flagship smartphone, like Ocean Lite, Ocean Harmony and HTC U11 Life. The company is also expected to launch its  Android One smartphone.

The company is entirely focused on expanding its VR ecosystem, it partnered with venture investment firms including Brightstone VR, GVR Fund and Rothenberg Ventures and subscribed to a US$4 million Series A investment project initiated by VRChat, a social VR apps.
